Nozzle
Description
A new Sampling Valve installation requires a secure and convenient entryway connection to your vessel. A Strahman Nozzle is designed for each of our Sampling Valve models, providing a tight tolerance and eliminating dead space. The key to its effectiveness is the snug fit it creates, which prevents fluid from collecting and hardening around the piston, which can cause binding and make valve operation difficult. It also ensures perfect alignment, preventing scoring and damage to the piston when connected to our flanged Sample Valve. If, however, a Nozzle connection already exists on your vessel, then a Strahman Adapter will be required to fill the space between the nozzle and the piston to ensure a tight fit and no dead space.
The Nozzle length may vary and is determined by the piston extension.
Nozzle features:
-
Our standard Nozzle is constructed of 316 SS
-
Other alloys such as Alloy 20, Nickel, Hastelloy B or C, Monel, Titanium, or Inconel for construction are available by request
-
Nozzle sized according to piston extension
-
The Nozzle can be designed at customer request with a PTFE liner for a more snug fit for special applications
Strahman original parts and tools help make installation easier and ensure a tight fit to the process line.
